Rainbow parade:

The Rainbow Parade is Vienna's largest LGBTQ+ event and attracts thousands of participants every year. It takes place in June during Pride Month and includes a parade along the Ringstraße as well as numerous events and parties celebrating diversity and equality.

LGBTQ+ Nightlife:

Vienna has a lively LGBTQ+ nightlife with numerous bars, clubs and cafés that cater specifically to the LGBTQ+ community. Popular meeting places include the ‘Village Bar’, ‘Why Not’ and ‘Marea Alta’. These places offer a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

Queer Museums and Culture:

 Vienna is rich in culture and history, and this is also reflected in the LGBTQ+ scene. The QWIEN Centre for Gay/Lesbian Culture and History offers insights into Vienna's LGBTQ+ history with exhibitions, archive materials and events. There are also regular LGBTQ+-friendly guided tours of the city that shed light on historical and cultural highlights from a queer perspective.
