Munich
In Munich you will find a large gay scene consisting of bars, clubs and saunas. Most of the gay venues are located in the Glockenbachviertel, also known as GBV.
The gay scene in the state capital may be smaller than in Berlin or Cologne, but it won't disappoint you. The highlights of the year are the Leder- und Fetischtreffen at the Starkbierfest in March, several street fairs in the summer from June to August, the Christopher Street Day Parade in July, the enchanted Queer Film Weekend and the Rosa-Wiesn at the Oktoberfest in September and the Pink Christmas Market in December.
