Montpellier
Montpellier, a city in the south of France, just 10 kilometres from the Mediterranean coast, impresses with its southern charm, many cultural highlights and a colourful and trendy array of LGBTQ+ friendly bars and clubs.
By no means a sleepy nest, but rather a vibrant (small) metropolis. A wonderful conclusion if you are planning a trip through the south of France, but also an absolute must for a short city trip. What you will also notice: The locals are friendlier than in many other French cities.
