Cologne is not just carnival - Cologne is also culture. Alongside Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, the Rhine metropolis is one of the most popular LGBTQ+ destinations in Germany and is definitely worth a visit.
The cathedral forms the cultural centre of the city, around which events such as the CSD take place. A queer city that has one or two entertaining drag shows to offer.
